Shelby Park and Bottoms

1900 Davidson St. | Five Points (615) 862-8539

About

The Shelby Bottoms Nature Center is an environmental education and recreation facility of the Nashville Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation. The Nature Center is a place where people can enjoy learning about our natural and urban landscape, the flora and fauna that call it home, the cultural history of the area, and the many complex interactions of what we so simply call “nature.” It is a place to learn (or remember!) that we are a part of nature and not apart from it.

Getting there

Parking

On-site parking is available at the main trailhead/Nature Center entrance on Davidson St, with additional lots around Shelby Park amenities including ballfields, the golf course, boat ramp, and shelters.

Public transit

WeGo bus Route 4 (Shelby) serves the park area via S 19th St & Shelby Ave/Shelby Park stops; Nashville B-Cycle bike-share stations are located near the Davidson St entrance and at the Cornelia Fort trailhead.
