About Daniel Reinker
Daniel Reinker is widely recognized as one of the region’s foremost violists, celebrated for his artistry, virtuosity, and compelling performances. Since joining the Blair School of Music faculty and the Nashville Symphony in 2002, he has inspired audiences with performances of remarkable technical brilliance and musical depth. In 2026, he concluded a distinguished 24-year career with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, marking the culmination of a remarkable chapter of artistic leadership and service.
A member of the ten-time Emmy Award–winning All-Star Orchestra, an elite ensemble comprising leading musicians from across the United States, Reinker was featured on numerous nationally broadcast public radio recordings between 2012 and 2023.
His studies include the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, the Yale School of Music, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
