4-Week Intro to Wheel Throwing

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in this immersive, four-week course designed for total beginners. Each week builds on the last as you develop core techniques like wedging, centering clay, pulling walls, shaping cylinders, and trimming your forms. You’ll also get an introduction to finishing methods and glazing basics.As part of your enrollment, you’ll also receive 2 hours of Slip Hours per week—open studio time with a instructor present where you can practice and refine your skills outside of class.The course includes all materials, use of tools, and firing for up to 8 finished pieces total. Want to keep more? Additional pieces can be saved for $10 each.
