Go behind the scenes with our beekeeper on a private guided tour of Southall’s apiaries! Don your very own beekeeping suit, take a selfie, and get ready to fire up the smoker. Guests will get the chance to open a live beehive, experience what it’s like to be a beekeeper, and taste our award-winning honey right out of the hive.
Here are some things to keep in mind before your tour:
Please wear closed toe shoes.
Avoid eating bananas the morning of your apiary tour.
Avoid wearing black or dark clothing.
You will be around smoke and wearing a full beekeeper suit with gloves (bring a camera to take a selfie!).
If you are allergic to bees, please inform us before the experience.
Available March 1st-October 1st.
This activity is open to resort guests and locals alike!
Please provide us with 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your activity. Cancellations within 24-hours of the experience will be charged for the full session.
