Jazz at Blair: Blair Big Band

The award-winning Blair Big Band, under the direction of Ryan Middagh, opens its 2026-27 season on Monday, September 28 in Ingram Hall. The Blair jazz program was recently honored with its 15th and 16th Downbeat Student Music Awards and the Big Band has achieved national recognition as one of the top undergraduate collegiate ensembles in the country.
The group recently released a new three-song EP, Sunrise in the Spring, with the title track composed by 2026 Blair graduate Ian Nussdorfer.
