About

DJ Jane Dupree’s musical journey began in high school, where she played guitar during church services, showcasing her innate talent and early passion for sound. It wasn’t until college at Middle Tennessee State University that she discovered DJing—a revelation that changed everything. There, she launched House Nation, a dance music radio show on WMTS, laying the groundwork for a genre-blending career.

From spinning vinyl to becoming the first artist signed to Forsheema Records, Dupree has continually defied expectations. She has shared stages with icons like Lizzo, Crystal Waters, DJ Colette, First Lady Jill Biden, Victor Calderone, Questlove, Big Freedia, The Knocks, Tinashe, La Bouche, Wilson Phillips, Junior Vasquez, The Blessed Madonna, and Bob the Drag Queen. Her signature high-energy sets have lit up legendary stages including Dinah Shore Weekend, Nashville Pride Fest, and Breakaway Music Festival.

As a producer, Dupree’s sound is just as powerful. Her remix of Jealousy for the Gattison Jealousy Remix Album debuted at #1 on the iTunes Dance Albums chart and reached #12 on the UK Music Week Commercial Dance Charts. With releases on both FTRVRYTHY and Forsheema Records, including appearances on FTRVRYTHY’s annual compilation, she continues to push creative boundaries and champion underground house and club culture.

Beyond the booth, Dupree’s presence spans pop culture. She appeared in Jake Owen’s Down to the Honkytonk music video and on multiple episodes of Nashville, and various podcasts highlighting her multi-dimensional reach across music and entertainment.

Now a Nashville mainstay and a fierce advocate for inclusion and representation in the music industry, DJ Jane Dupree is more than just a DJ—she’s a sonic storyteller, a cultural bridge, and a force behind the decks. Whether delivering house, techno, country remixes, or pure dancefloor fire, her sets uplift, connect, and ignite.
