The Silver Jewelry-Making class is designed for students of all skill levels. Silver clay is a malleable, precious metal clay that can be sculpted into jewelry, leaving behind a solid metal object after firing.
The first 15 minutes of class will include a detailed demonstration. The next 90 minutes is production time for you to put your new skills to work. The last 15 minutes is for cleaning up your work station. The class includes up to 2 finished items made from 10 grams of clay. Finished pieces can include one pair of earrings, a necklace and a ring, two rings, etc. You’ll be able to take your pieces with you at the end of class, no kiln time required. All materials (hooks, clasps, etc.) will be included.
Please be on time! Missing the demonstration will impact your class experience. Feel free to arrive up to 15 minutes early to sign in, get a tour of the studio, and get settled at your work station.
