Research has shown that the calming presence of a therapy animal can promote reading skills and reduce anxiety when learning, so come read to furry friend JJ from Nashville Therapy Pets! Elementary grade children can practice reading aloud with JJ. Contact the branch at 615-862-5871 for more information or to sign up your child(ren) for a 10-minute reading time slot.
