Blair Academy at Vanderbilt presents the Vanderbilt Community Chorus, under the direction of David Binns Williams, in a performance of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, December 6.
Now celebrating its 26th season, the Vanderbilt Community Chorus brings together singers from across the greater Nashville area who share a passion for choral music and ensemble performance. The Chorus presents a diverse repertoire spanning centuries and styles, with programs featuring works by composers and artists ranging from J.S. Bach and George Frideric Handel to Stephen Sondheim, Jake Runestad, and Moses Hogan. The ensemble has also represented Nashville on the international stage, touring Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic in 2017 and Italy in 2024.
