The award-winning Blair Big Band, directed by Ryan Middagh, joins forces with acclaimed saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman for an unforgettable evening of jazz. Widely recognized as one of the nation’s premier undergraduate jazz ensembles, the Blair Big Band recently earned its 15th and 16th DownBeat Student Music Awards and has released its latest recording project, Sunrise in the Spring.
Together with Thurman — an internationally celebrated artist known for her extraordinary talents as both a tenor saxophonist and vocalist — the ensemble will present a dynamic program that showcases the artistry, innovation, and enduring spirit of jazz.
