A bona fide prodigy by any standard, Droney was honored with the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation’s New Generation Award at age 12 and soon found himself playing alongside heroes like B.B. King and James Brown. After years spent honing his songwriting craft in Los Angeles and Nashville, he released his debut album, State of the Heart, in May 2021, followed by his sophomore collection, Subtitles for Feelings, in 2023.
