About
Formed in 2021, Willowake is a three-piece led by JR Polanco (vocals/guitar) with Gavin Alvarado (bass) and Dax Corcoran (drums). They released debut single “Bitterfaced” in 2022 and the EP An Alter Ego in June 2024 co?produced by Jakob Armstrong; their 2023 single “I See Ghosts” received KROQ airplay and subsequent releases (including “Echo Odd” and the 2026 EP Having Bad Dreams) have driven strong streaming and social growth.
