Vincent Lamont "Maseo" Mason Jr. is the DJ, producer and occasional rapper who co-founded the influential hip-hop group De La Soul. The group's 1989 debut, 3 Feet High and Rising, is regarded as a landmark release, and Mason shared in later career milestones including the group's Grammy-winning collaboration on Gorillaz's "Feel Good Inc." He has performed internationally with De La Soul and maintained a long career as a DJ and producer.
