About
Founded in 2014 by concert promoter Peter Shapiro and educator Amy Striem, The Rock and Roll Playhouse is a national family-friendly live concert series that presents themed shows for children and parents. The project has played over 1,000 shows at more than 35 venues and reached hundreds of thousands of kids and families across the United States. Performances combine kid-appropriate renditions of well-known songs with games, movement, and storytelling.
