Dustin, Riley and Kyle all went to high school with one another, and played in a band called Everything Diet. They did LOTS of covers of Less Than Jake tunes.
Patrick started the Moguls with some other dudes, and wanted to be The Queers. Said other dudes for various reasons, ended up quitting or moving on from the band. Pat kept the name because it's AWESOME. (Right?!)
Kyle knew Patrick as this rad, dude that would launch him in the air (literally) to crowd surf at shows in high school.
8 years later... Kyle and Patrick started a band, and called it The Moguls. Some other dudes left the band, and Kyle invited Dustin and Riley to be awesome with himself, and Patrick. It's AWESOME!!!1!1!one!1!1!
