The Haybirds started as an in-demand backing band for other Nashville artists before becoming a standalone act led by John Hibbard. They released the single "Appalachian Rocket Fuel" (September 10, 2025) and have continued to release music and perform regularly on the Nashville live circuit, with additional singles appearing on streaming platforms in 2026.
