The Black Orchids is the current performing project of American musician and producer Tess Brunet. Brunet has recorded and toured since the early 2000s and operates a DIY record label and independent record shop, Lagniappe Records. The project has released recordings and played live internationally, and Brunet's work has received broadcast support such as airplay on KCRW.
