About
Motherfolk started as Bobby Paver and Nathan Dickerson. The band started out as a project between the two. They had both written an extensive amount of songs, and as they brought them together, they realized that the themes lined up. They are passionate about writing music that connects to people who are struggling. They write in the genre of lamentation, and consider their music a more frustrated aspect of worship.
Along the way, they picked up Jacob Bremer, Rich Miller, and Aaron Wilson, and have been playing shows all across the US.
