Mark Thornton is a Nashville-based guitarist, producer and engineer who founded Sidekick Sound studio in 1994 and has produced and engineered numerous records, including work on CMH Records' Pickin' On series. He spent roughly a decade as a touring and recording guitarist for a major country act until 2008 and now leads Mark Thornton & The Sidekicks while continuing studio work and live performances around Music City and at festivals.
