Lauren Morrow fronted Atlanta roots group The Whiskey Gentry for about a decade before launching a solo career. She has appeared on programs such as PBS's Bluegrass Underground and played festival stages including Pickathon, and she led the band's annual "Merry Y’allTide" holiday shows (the Whiskey Gentry’s final performance was in December 2018).
