The John Wood Band formed while frontman John Wood attended UNCW and performs as a six-piece live act led by Wood's songwriting. The project released singles in 2025–2026 (including "Coffee On The Beach" and "Dry Eyes") and has toured the southeastern U.S., playing venues such as Cat's Cradle and Eddie's Attic. The band frequently appears on regional bills and maintains active official social and streaming profiles.
