About
Originally from a ranch in southeastern New Mexico and later based in Lubbock, John Hibbard relocated to Nashville and performs regularly on Broadway and with his band The Haybirds. He is an alumnus of the Commercial Music program at South Plains College and was named SPC Outstanding Bluegrass Instrumentalist in 2021. Hibbard has released music on major streaming platforms and fronts The Haybirds at regional festivals and Nashville residencies.
