Formed in 2019 by Jade Ireland (Jade Long) and Jessica Thompson while at the University of Georgia, Hotel Fiction expanded into a five-piece and has released the albums Soft Focus (2021) and Staring at the Sun (2024). The band has toured nationally, appeared on Spotify editorial playlists, and received coverage from outlets including SPIN, EARMILK, and local press.
