Hannah Ellis is a country artist from Campbellsville, Kentucky. Ellis grew up competing in every small town contest she could get her boots in and has opened for country super stars Lee Brice, Jake Owen, Brett Eldredge, Russell Dickerson and more. After graduating from University of Kentucky in 2012, Hannah moved to Nashville, Tennessee. In 2015 she competed in Season 8 of The Voice and made it to the televised portion of the show before continuing home. She signed with Word Country Publishing later that year and has since received multiple country cuts by artists like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Russell Dickerson, Danielle Bradbery and Keith Urban. Hannah has played the Gulf Coast Jam, CMA Fest in Nashville, TN, and the National Police Officer Memorial Service in Washington, DC. where she had the privilege of performing her song ‘Officer Down’ on the steps of the United States Capitol building in front of 50,000 people. Most recently, Hannah released her debut self-titled EP, containing her current single “Temporary Feeling” and was since inducted into the CMT Next Women of Country Class of 2018. For Ellis, it is about being vulnerable and putting into words what others are feeling; music is about connecting.
