Emily Landis relocated from St. Louis to Nashville in 2012 to study songwriting at Belmont University and later signed a publishing agreement with BMG Nashville. She co-wrote Gabby Barrett’s breakthrough single “The Good Ones,” which reached No. 1 on country charts and earned multi-platinum certification, and has additional cuts including MacKenzie Porter’s “Chasing Tornadoes.”
