Formed in 2015 by frontman Count Scapula, Dead Alive emphasizes a horror-themed aesthetic and theatrical live presentation featuring corpse paint and stage effects. They released the debut LP Rise of the Skeleton Army in 2021 and the full-length The Madness of Dr. Ludvig Von Brainmatter in October 2024, and supported the latter with a self-booked 'Thrashville Terror Tour' in 2025.
