At age 11 he made the local finals of the "Ted Mack Geritol Hour" national contest. it was kind of the "American Idol" of its day. Crowned state champion lead guitarist in 1984, he has not slowed down any.
One of the few acts to distribute song programs at his shows so customers can hear what they enjoy. The programs contain a couple hundred hits from the 1950's right up to the 20011 release of "Shootin out the Lights" CD.
